PORTEX® Coach 2® incentive Spirometer (22-2500)

The Portex Coach Incentive Spirometer is a volume-based device that assists patients recovering from surgery or requiring deep breathing exercises to perform and measure slow deep inhalations to improve clearance of secretions. The device assists in the treatment of atelectasis and/or facilitate the opening of airways. It ensures the patient inhale, is easily adjustable to suit patient needs and is easy to spot for patients emerging from the effects of anaesthesia due to its bright color. Due to its mobility, it can be used at home and in hospitals as per your convenience. Deep breathing improves the ability to clear mucus from the lungs and may also increase the amount of oxygen getting into the lungs. Other features include an O2 connection for supplemental oxygen, a convenient handle, flexible popple tubing and bedrail holder.
